When it comes to linking which do you trust more:
1) A full path url: www.englishqed.com/blog/
2) A bit.ly ‘shortened’ url: http://bit.ly/12IRmk (linking to englishqed blog)
3) A tinyurl ‘shortened’ url: http://tinyurl.com/cfpymg (linking to englishqed blog)
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
All the best.

I think that the full path url (www.englishqed.com/blog/) is the one all first-time internet users and learners would probably consider as a “trusty reference”. Actually, if you have been told the *name* of a site (e.g. by friends or other information channels, referring to sth in the web about english language sounding like ‘englishqed’), you would probably feel surer when linking to a path in which you can *identify* the name you heard about. Shortened forms are very useful, but less (human)user-friendly.
Hope I’ve been helpful!
See you!
