I can highly recommend The Little Arms Shop.

Daniel, my 11 year old son, is passionate about Star Wars. He collects all the model star fighters and minifigs that he can. So it came as no surprise after he found an internet site in Holland that sells arms for his minifigs that he asked me to place an order for 10 weapons.

My first impression of The Little Arms Shop site was that it seemed to be amateurish because of the overall design and the only payment methods accepted being either Paypal or bank transfer. Despite this I registered as a user and placed an order for 10 items opting for the bank transfer payment method.

The order confirmation email containing the bank transfer details arrived almost immediately. As I live in Italy – and do not completely trust the Italian postal system – I sent an email requesting how much extra it would cost to send the order via registered mail.  30 minutes later the reply arrived with details of the extra cost.

As I was happy with the total amount I instructed my bank to pay the invoice by bank transfer. To my surprise I found that my bank has a minimum amount that can be paid by international bank transfer. The amount was above the invoice value to be paid. Even though it was going to cost me more I confirmed the payment anyway.

I then sent The Little Arms Shop an email confirming payment and that they would receive an amount in excess of that on their invoice. I explained the bank problem and told them to accept the extra couple of Euro without problem as this was my choice.

I was pleasantly surprised when The Little Arms Shop emailed me saying that they would include an extra weapon as a result of my ‘over payment’. This was a great gesture on their part as I didn’t ask for or expect it and effectively the extra I paid did not cover the cost for them!

Yesterday my son received his delivery and was incredible happy when he found more than one bonus weapon!

So to summarize the order was:

Dispatched as indicated in their emails.

Arrived in perfect condition.

Contained extras not indicated beforehand.

I would like to say that I highly recommend The Little Arms Shop in Holland. They prove that you can’t judge a book by its cover, and they have excellent customer service and went that little bit extra to make my son happy.
